Los orígenes.

En 1915, los hermanos Bach i Escopet, Pere y Ramón, se trasladaron a Sant Esteve Sesrovires desde Barcelona y adquirieron una finca del siglo XVIII llamada Can Estrada. Gracias a los beneficios obtenidos con el comercio del algodón, los hermanos pudieron invertir en la puesta en marcha de la bodega que, poco a poco, fue creciendo con la compra de nuevas fincas hasta sumar una extensión de 365 hectáreas. La cosecha de 1920, a base de Xarello y Macabeo, marcó la puesta de largo de Bach. Su proyecto era el de elaborar vinos destinados al envejecimiento y por este motivo construyeron una cava de 95 metros de longitud, posteriormente ampliada.

Trayectoria.

Las primeras botellas de Bach estuvieron en la Exposición Universal de Barcelona de 1929. La Guerra Civil truncó parte del esplendor alcanzado por Bach en los años veinte y tuvo trágicas consecuencias para la familia: Ramón murió y su hermano Pere, aunque sobrevivió a la contienda, quedó muy marcado por su recuerdo. Unos años después, en 1942, decidió vender la finca. En los años siguientes, Bach tuvo varios propietarios hasta que, en 1975, la familia Raventós adquirió la finca e integró Bach en su grupo de bodegas. Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde sus inicios pero la fidelidad al espíritu de los hermanos Bach ha permanecido inalterable: calidad, originalidad y personalidad en todos sus vinos y cavas.
