Una amistad y una pasión.

En el pueblo de la Beguda Alta hay un viñedo que parece abandonado. Era de Pepe, amigo de Jordi, copropietario de Finca Parera. Pepe no sabía leer y cuando llegaban cartas, se las pasaba a Jordi para que le dijera de qué iban. La amistad y el paso del tiempo hicieron que la muerte no truncara el recuerdo del amigo: Su viña vive ahora gracias a los Parera y Rubén, hijo de Jordi, decidió que allí no sucedería nada que la naturaleza no quisiera. El resultado suena a abandono, pero es reencuentro con las raíces.

La finca y sus vinos.

Finca Parera tradicionalmente ha sido, y sigue siendo, de una familia de payeses. Jordi Parera y su hijo Rubén, viñadores, sienten y trabajan la tierra alta del Penedès con el corazón en sus manos. Un proyecto familiar surgido de la experiencia de más de media vida en el mundo vitivinícola y como gestor empresarial agrícola el padre, y de los conocimientos del hijo después de haber cursado ingeniería agrónoma y pasar tres años adquiriendo experiencia en una bodega ajena. El padre Jordi fue pionero en recoger las cerezas con el certificado CCPAE., Rubén, el hijo, desde sus comienzos al frente de la bodega, solo trabaja con la filosofía de hacer todo ecológico. Desde la añada del 2015 elaboran con el certificado biodinámico DEMETER. El hecho es que están haciendo las cosas bien. Actualmente están en reconversión en los viñedos para injertar variedades autóctonas. Tienen una gama de 6 vinos tranquilos: Los jóvenes CLAR, ROIG y FOSC, el SASSÓ que es un complejo blanco de Xarel·lo, un clásico muy mediterráneo el FAUST y el KRHONOS, un exclusivo y salvaje Sumoll; a parte elaboran un ancestral de xarel·lo y unos naturales de muy poca producción como son Fins els Kullons y el Mala Herba.
