La bodega y sus viñedos.

Propiedad de la familia Eguren, Sierra Cantabria, al estilo de las bodegas del siglo XVI, los vinos de Viñedos de Páganos reposan en condiciones privilegiadas y de forma natural: en bodegas subterráneas excavadas en roca. Viñedos de Páganos se encuentra en la villa medieval de Laguardia, al pie de la Sierra de Cantabria, entre dólmenes y yacimientos arqueológicos, ermitas y vetustas iglesias medievales, rodeada por hectáreas de viñedo, los de El Puntido y La Nieta.
- El viñedo de nombre El Puntido, vocablo antiguo que significa 'descansillo', semejante a la terraza formada entre la Sierra de Cantabria y la depresión del Ebro, recibe la influencia de un clima atlántico con matices de continental, protegido de los fríos vientos del norte por la Sierra de Cantabria, y su suelo es de textura arcillo-calcárea o franco-arcillosa con una elevada presencia mineral, una característica que confiere al vino un singular carácter mineral y una extraordinaria personalidad.
- La Nieta, por su parte, es una parcela de 1,75 Ha de suelo franco de poca profundidad, más pobre que el de El Puntido, y con un microclima completamente diferente, que tras someter a la vid a un escaso vigor y a una producción de manera natural, se obtiene un fruto de gran calidad con el que se elabora el vino de ese mismo nombre.

De un patrimonio de viñedos excepcionales de la Sonsierra nacen vinos únicos que transmiten la esencia de cada terruño, la expresión del Tempranillo en perfecta confluencia con el clima, el suelo y la mano del hombre. El resultado es una colección de joyas enológicas que nacen con vocación de perdurar en el tiempo.
