La bodega Dartigalongue puede ostentar con orgullo el título de productor más antiguo de Bas Armagnac en la historia, remontando sus orígenes al período del reinado de Louis-Philippe, allá por 1838 para ser precisos. A finales de la década de 1930, el fundador Pascal Dartigalongue fundó la maison en Nogaro, en el corazón de la región de Gascogne, en el suroeste de Francia, y luego compró los viñedos en los años setenta del siglo XIX.
