Un siglo haciendo bien las cosas.
Jané Ventura, bodega de la zona del Penedès, cumple más de 100 vendimias. Esta firma familiar elabora vinos y cavas, desarrollando una importante apuesta por los vinos experimentales y las variedades rescatadas. La historia de Jané Ventura se remonta a 1914, cuando Josep Jané Giró comenzó su andadura en el negocio de los vinos a granel. Actualmente, al frente de esta bodega se encuentra Gerard Jané, bisnieto de Joseph Jané Giró e hijo de Benjamín Jané Ventura, fundador de la bodega moderna en 1984. Jané Ventura tiene ubicadas sus bodegas en el Vendrell, capital del "Bajo Penedès", en la parte baja del Penedès, cerca del mar, y en la Bisbal del Penedès, en la finca Mas Vilella, y en la Juncosa del Montmell, en la finca Els Camps, donde se encuentran los viñedos.
Reconversión.
Jané Ventura es una empresa familiar dedicada al mundo del vino desde el año 1914, cuando el abuelo del actual propietario, que era agricultor, ya comercializaba vinos de los payeses de la comarca. La Bodega principal, situada en el Vendrell, data del año 1933. La actividad de la empresa tradicionalmente fue la del vino a granel. Hasta que en el año 1985, el actual propietario, Benjamí Jané Ventura, fruto de la experiencia acumulada, optó por reconvertir el negocio, creando la marca Jané Ventura, con la intención de elaborar y embotellar vinos y cavas de alta calidad, bajo la D.O. Penedès. Actualmente el enólogo y gerente es Gerad Jané.
