Luxardo es la compañía productora del más famoso y tradicional licor italiano de cerezas marascas, es una empresa familiar fundada en 1821 que se proyecta al siglo XXI destacando el valor de lo auténtico y tradicional sin dejar de ser moderno. La historia de esta bodega comienza en 1821 con la fundación de una destilería por parte de Girolamo Luxardo donde después de 8 años de investigación y perfeccionamiento del “rosolio maraschino”, obtuvo un «privilegio» exclusivo del Emperador de Austria: un reconocimiento de la calidad superior del licor Luxardo, y hoy en día la bodega continúa orgullosa de llevar la denominación de: «PRIVILEGIATA FABBRICA MARASCHINO EXCELSIOR». La sexta generación de la familia mantiene hoy 100% el control de la empresa, produciendo Marrasquino, conocido mundialmente así como una línea completa de licores clásicos italianos como Sambuca, Amaretto, Cherry Liqueur Morlacco, Grappa, Limoncello, Passione Nera. Una segunda línea incluye una división gourmet con licor de concentrados para panaderos y fabricantes de helados, jarabes de frutas, las cerezas originales Maraschino Cherries, y una selección de mermeladas premium.
