Vinos con nombre propio.

Finca LA ESTACADA nació en el año 2001, fruto de la ilusión de la familia Cantarero Rodríguez, apellido curtido en el mundo vitivinícola, que desde entonces tiene como objetivo sacar lo mejor de sus viñedos, destinando su fruto a la elaboración de unos vinos que despuntan tanto por su buena relación calidad-precio como por su imagen. Unos vinos con nombre propio. Nuestra filosofía de trabajo es la de apostar por revelar el perfil de calidad que poseen los vinos de estas tierras, elaborando vinos de gran riqueza y calidad acordes con las altas expectativas del mercado actual. Todo el utillaje de la bodega es de última generación con el objetivo claro de preservar la asepsia más absoluta y explorar aún más el carácter de cada una de las variedades. Bajo la edificación principal se encuentra la nave de crianza con capacidad para albergar 6.000 barricas.

La tierra.

La tierra es el origen y principio de todo, Finca LA ESTACADA se adapta a la tierra que la circunda, integrándose en ella y adecuándose al paisaje con su arquitectura de ladrillo mudéjar, típicamente manchega. Su título nos devuelve al origen, a la tierra, al nacimiento del fruto, a los espacios abiertos donde la viña manda sobre la bodega. Los suelos son de constitución arcillosa con un substrato calizo, pobres pero con suficientes recursos minerales. La maduración se desarrolla sin problemas gracias al número de horas de sol que caracteriza al viñedo de Castilla-La Mancha pero con la peculiaridad de situarse en zonas más altas. El factor de la altura permite una maduración algo más lenta que en el resto de La Mancha, preservando ciertos niveles de acidez y algunos matices frutales que desaparecerían con una mayor temperatura media. Cargados de matices y colores, que varían a lo largo de las diferentes épocas del año, nuestros viñedos componen un paisaje incomparable. FINCA LA ESTACADA posee 278 hectáreas de viñedo extendidas como una alfombra sobre leves lomas situadas en las cercanías de la bodega. Las más alejadas se sitúan entre 7 y 10 kilómetros de distancia.

Las variedades.

Nuestras principales variedades son la Tempranillo, con una edad media de 25 años, Cabernet, Syrah y Merlot. Adoptar variedades como la Tempranillo, la más prestigiosa de España, la Merlot y la Cabernet, las grandes señoras de la viticultura mundial, junto a la incipiente Syrah, la estrella del Ródano y de Australia, no responde a una cuestión de modas, sino al claro objetivo de rivalizar con los mejores vinos del mundo. Además, no podemos olvidar nuevas variedades como Cabernet Franc, Cariñena, Malbecth y Petit Verdot con las que hemos ampliado la plantación. En Finca LA ESTACADA organizamos la vendimia en función de las variedades. De forma que, comenzamos a finales de agosto con la recolección de la Merlot y acabamos a finales de octubre con la Cabernet, asegurándonos así del momento óptimo de vendimia. En nuestra bodega cuidamos con mucho esmero el proceso de la uva, con el objetivo de ofrecer la mayor calidad según sus características y tiempo, en función del vino que elaboremos en cada caso. Una vez recolectamos la uva, pasa a los depósitos de maceración en donde se produce la fermentación, que viene a durar de 7 a 10 días, y la maceración, es decir, la extracción del contenido polifenólico desde el hollejo al mosto, que tiene una duración de entre 10 y 30 días según las características de la uva y el tipo de vino que se vaya a elaborar.

La gama de vinos.

La gama de vinos con crianza, se descuba directamente en barrica. En Finca LA ESTACADA poseemos 3.000 barricas de roble americano y francés donde nuestros vinos permanecen el tiempo necesario para, posteriormente, pasar a embotellarlos. Al final del proceso, en Finca LA ESTACADA catamos el vino de los botelleros asiduamente para asegurarnos de cuál es su momento óptimo. El interior de cada botella esconde los conocimientos adquiridos a lo largo de años de trabajo, el esmero de un equipo entregado al cuidado de cada detalle y el amor por el vino que elaboramos.
