Español [ ES ]Bernaví nace en el año 2007 fruto de la inquietud de tres jóvenes técnicos, apasionados por el viñedo y por el vino. Estos jóvenes son Marco Bernava, Gino Bernava y Ruth Fullat Sisteré. Su apuesta es un enfoque personal y familiar: Deciden empezar el proyecto italo-catalán en la Terra Alta, recuperando y reconvirtiendo viñas y construyendo una nueva bodega que la acabaron en el año en 2011. La bodega está en la finca Mas Vernet, cuya extensión llega hasta el río Ebro, en la localidad de Vilalba dels Arcs. En este valle se cultivan viñas autóctonas de garnacha blanca, morenillo y garnacha tinta y, exclusivamente con sus uvas, elaboran sus vinos “interpretando il terroir". Corría el año 2011 cuando sus primeros vinos vieron la luz: Un blanco, un rosado y un tinto joven.
Escogimos Mas Vernet porqué aquí hemos visto todas las peculiaridades y las potencialidades de la Terra Alta. Estamos en zona pre litoral donde el clima mediterráneo se encuentra con el continental del interior de España: las excursiones térmicas entre día y noche favorecen una excelente maduración; las escasas precipitaciones y los vientos dominantes de Garbí y Cerç nos permiten practicar una viticultura plenamente respetuosa con el medio ambiente; los suelos de “Panal” (conformaciones arcillo-limosas de origen cuaternaria) ricos en cal y yeso son el hogar de viñas que trabajan en condiciones a veces tan extremas como fascinantes. La viticultura respeta el equilibrio del ecosistema viñedo con una atenta gestión de la cubierta vegetal, cover crops, que da vida al terreno, con marcos de plantación reducidos, con un control del equilibrio vegeto-productivo de cada planta, con una gestión fitosanitaria integrada.
Elaboramos vinos de terruño y lo hacemos en el viñedo: Por este motivo buscamos sinergias entre plantas, suelo, clima y la mano del hombre. Nos gustan los vinos que hablan de la tierra, de las añadas y del trabajo: Por esto en la bodega respetamos el fruto y controlamos el proceso natural de la vinificación. Cada uno de los Bernavins es auténtico en este sentido.
Actualmente tienen en el mercado los vinos Ca'Vernet, Notte Bianca, 3d3 y 21 Ventuno. Vinos que, tras su cuidada evolución, ya sea en depósitos de inox o en toneles de roble francés y de Eslavonia de 3000 litros, concentran el resultado de los factores productivos humanos, naturales y de la filosofía de Bernaví: producciones de calidad pensando en el placer de los maridajes gastronómicos. La relación de vinos, hoy por hoy, son:

Bernaví se sitúa a Mas Vernet, entre nuestros viñedos. La vendimia es manual en cajas y las uvas se procesan de inmediato. Fermentan en tinas de inox para así respetar la fragancia y la esencia de cada variedad, con un estricto control de las temperaturas. En nuestra "bottaia" trabajamos con barriles de gran volumen, 3000 litros, donde los vinos reposan, evolucionan, pero mantienen su personalidad. Los Bernavins de este modo se expresan de forma pura y personal.
