Cultura.
Viñedos y Crianzas del Alto Aragón, bodega del Somontano conocida por su gama de vinos Enate, ha sido intérprete de la revolución vitivinícola que ha vivido esta zona de elaboración de la provincia de Huesca. Nacida en 1991, sus modernas instalaciones situadas en Salas Bajas ocupan una superficie superior a 12.000 metros cuadrados, en la que el constante guiño a la cultura se ha convertido en santo y seña de la bodega. La batuta enológica de la firma corre a cargo del reputado Jesús Artajona.
El referente de su denominación.
ENATE, Viñedos y Crianzas del Alto Aragón S.A., es el principal referente en la denominación de origen del Somontano y se define a sí misma como una bodega de nuestro tiempo, aprendiz de la naturaleza, la cual respeta y admira y de la que busca captar la perfección para transmitirla en sus vinos. Una residencia del vino aséptica y funcional sin nada que ver con la imagen oscura y subterránea que tiene el moho húmedo y espectral como protagonista. Los nuevos tiempos parecen tener sus mejores aliados en el diseño y las formas. Las instalaciones están trazadas con precisión geométrica. En ellas se repiten un ritmo de rectas y aristas que ignoran la línea curva, las formas redondeadas son patrimonio exclusivo de la barrica. El arquitecto ha captado desde el primer momento la intensa luminosidad de esta región y la ha trasladado a los espacios interiores, de forma que aún dentro siempre queda la sensación de estar un poco fuera. Es quizás el mejor ejemplo de este juego entre naturaleza y arquitectura.

Enate ofrece una amplísima gama de vinos, desde los clásicos crianza y reserva, varios monovarietales, de precios distintos y personalidades muy diferenciadas, hasta vinos tan selectos como su preciado Enate Uno de chardonnay. Vendimias a mano, tratamientos naturales, bajos rendimientos... y la sabia mano de un amplio equipo de elaboradores aseguran, año tras año, la alta calidad de los vinos de Enate, vinos criados al amparo de los Pirineos, en el sosegado y bello entorno del Somontano. Las botellas de Enate, Enate es EnArte: arte y vino, contenido y continente, se caracterizan, además, por ser "una escultura de arte contemponáneo" y sus etiquetas constituyen un verdadero patrimonio artístico, reproducción de obras tanto de grandes maestros como de jóvenes artistas: Antonio Saura, Eduardo Chillida, José Beulas, Salvador Victoria, Antoni Tàpies, José Manuel Broto, Víctor Mira, Pepe Cerdá, Alberto Carrera, Frederic Amat, Vicente Badenes, Alberto Duce, Eduardo Arroyo, Mapi Ribera, Carmen P.
