El proyecto.

El proyecto personal de tres amigos, Marc Grin, al frente de la dirección comercial; Pablo Ossorio, como enólogo; y Rafael Navarro, viticultor, es Bodegas Hispano Suizas, una apuesta elaboradora de vinos de calidad en una región nada típica para ello: Utiel-Requena. Pablo Ossorio es considerado el enólogo estrella de Valencia. Este leonés inquieto y revolucionario ha dado un nuevo giro de tuerca a los vinos que se elaboraban en Utiel-Requena, y es que, ha demostrado que la calidad es sinónima de la innovación. Aunque es enólogo de la importante bodegas Murviedro, ubicada también en Valencia, su proyecto más íntimo y personal es Hispano-Suizas. La filosofía que guía a la bodega es la de elaborar vinos singulares, investigando con las variedades autóctonas de la zona y sus coupages con variedades foráneas, siempre tratando de optimizar las combinaciones entre castas y suelos. El resultado es una colección creciente de vinos de alta gama pero asequibles. Más allá de la moda del vino de autor, y gracias a la independencia que la dilatada experiencia de los tres socios-amigos les otorga (y que les ha permitido aplicar una viticultura tradicional, innovadora enología y exportación inteligente), Rafael, Pablo y Marc han tenido las manos libres para componer pequeñas obras maestras.

El por qué de Bodegas Hispano+Suizas.

Hubo un día en que tres almas gemelas compartieron el mismo sueño después de media vida en el mundo del vino: elaborar los vinos que querían hacer, comenzando en la cepa y terminando en la etiqueta. Entre los caprichos del vino de autor para iniciados, el vino elaborado según las dictadas de la moda y el mercado, hay una tercera vía que Marc Grin, Pablo Ossorio y Rafael Navarro han querido explorar con una apuesta personalísima a la que han dado el nombre de Bodegas Hispano+Suizas por el origen de sus socios. Con la independencia que les da una contrastada experiencia y teniendo las tres patas del banco de un buen producto: viticultura tradicional, enología innovadora y exportación inteligente, Rafael, Pablo y Marc han tenido las manos libres para componer una pequeña obra maestra. Se trata de hacer vinos de alta gama y asequibles para los cada vez más abundantes amantes del buen vino. Con el justo esnobismo pero sin perder de vista que un buen vino se hace día a día desde la poda de la vara adecuada al coupage exacto, pasando por una exigente y paciente vendimia y una sabia combinación de maderas. El objetivo es ambicioso: hacer Obras Maestras, distintas pero entendibles por el cliente. De ahí que los nombres de los vinos vayan a tener el denominador común de ser términos utilizados en la música clásica. Porque un buen vino, para que nada desafine, tiene que salir de la botella como una sinfonía en la que cada instrumento ocupa su sitio y su momento. Ése es el sueño de Bodegas Hispano+Suizas que ahora empieza a plasmarse. Bodegas Hispano+Suizas pertenece a la Denominación de Origen Protegida Utiel- Requena, una de las zonas vitivinícolas españolas de mayor tradición y en la que han apostado para producir sus vinos. Esta región, situada a caballo entre la meseta y el Mediterráneo, permite una combinación climática para producir uva de gran calidad y con singularidades muy acusadas.
