BODEGAS PEÑAFIEL, en el corazón de la Ribera del Duero, disfruta de toda la intensidad de su paisaje. Un paisaje donde seleccionamos los viñedos más viejos, vendimiamos las uvas en su punto justo de maduración y respetamos el silencio de una buena crianza. Una bodega de poca producción que le ofrece sus mejores frutos: crianzas y reservas Miros de Ribera. Situada en pleno corazón de la Denominación de Origen Ribera del Duero, Bodegas Peñafiel es una firma castellana preocupada por recoger y transmitir el potencial de los mejores viñedos de Tinto Fino que dominan en la zona de producción. Viñas de poca producción que son sometidas a una constante vigilancia y que son seleccionadas rigurosamente para que sólo los mejores racimos participen en la elaboración de los vinos de la casa.

Variedades.

Bodegas Peñafiel es una pequeña bodega de piedra ubicada en un entorno privilegiado, con vistas al castillo de Peñafiel, Museo Provincial del Vino y en una de las más prestigiosas Denominaciones de Origen, la Ribera del Duero. Aunque somos una bodega relativamente joven, constituida en el año 2.003, nuestro objetivo, desde un principio, ha sido criar y comercializar vinos de alta gama, con una amplia variedad que va desde el reserva y crianza DO Ribera del Duero al blanco DO Rueda. En estos momentos, nuestra bodega dispone de más de 32 Has de viñedo, con variedades Tinta del país, Merlot y Cabernet Sauvignon cuyas parcelas está ubicadas en Peñafiel y Castrillo, zonas con una climatología excepcional para la obtención de tintos de alta calidad. Además si hay algo que nos caracteriza es la crianza de nuestros vinos, exclusivamente en barricas de roble francés, lo que unido a la vendimia tardía, confiere a éstos una acusada personalidad. Por eso cada una de las botellas de Bodegas Peñafiel encierra un fragmento de nuestras tierras. La textura del aire y la intensidad de los colores, el seco crujir del calor en verano, el olor húmedo del invierno que reposa en los viñedos. Un nudo de sensaciones únicas, irrepetibles que recogidas por la voluntad del enólogo alumbran un vino único y personal. Nuestros vinos se dividen en dos líneas: Miros (joven, rosado y blanco) y Miros de Ribera (reserva y crianza).
