Asociación de enólogos y bodegueros.
Uvas Felices es un proyecto novedoso que nace de la asociación de prestigiosos bodegueros y enólogos de diferentes regiones vitivinícolas. Su filosofía se fundamenta en ofrecer al consumidor vinos de calidad a precios asequibles, creados en zonas menos conocidas o populares pero con el aval de algunos de los elaboradores más talentosos del panorama español. Así, bajo el paraguas de Uvas Felices se agrupan diferentes proyectos, como El perro verde, Ca N'Estruc, L'Origan, Fenomenal, Sospechoso, Venta Las Vacas, Paisajes, La Locomotora, Viña Al Lado de la Casa o El Hombre Bala. Vinos de diferentes procedencias y de diferentes uvas... de carácter innovador y estilo moderno.
Proyectos.
Las bodegas que elaboran los vinos que quedan recogidos bajo este paraguas están ubicadas en algunas de las denominaciones de origen más representativas de nuestra geografía como son Yecla, Rueda, Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Rías Baixas, Vinos de Madrid, Cava y Cataluña. En la mayoría de ocasiones estos proyectos cuentan con una historia que se remonta siglos atrás, en el caso de Ca N'Estruc, que data de 1548, y en otras se trata de bodegas de reciente fundación. Gran parte del éxito de este compendio radica en la diversidad de sus integrantes, de sus distintas procedencias y de la amplia variedad de uvas y suelos con los que trabajan. El Hombre Bala y La Mujer Cañón nace en el año 2010 en colaboración de los 3 enólogos iniciales de Comando G. Es uno de los nuevos proyectos de Uvas Felices. Comando G, tras la marcha de Marc Isart, Bodegas Bernaveleva, son actualmente 2 amigos, enólogos y viticultores: Fernando García Bodegas Marañones y Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi, Daniel Landi Viticultores.
Vinos.
Con ellos surge el proyecto de elaborar dos vinos de viñas viejas de garnacha de la Sierra de Gredos, que en el caso de la Mujer Cañón provienen de viñedo propio. Con edades comprendidas entre los 50 y los 90 años de edad, se seleccionaron 4 fincas de 3 pueblos diferentes situados al oeste de Madrid; Cadalso de los Vidrios, Cenicientos y Rozas de Puerto Real. La vendimia de cada finca empieza en el momento óptimo de maduración; siendo más temprana la de “El Hombre Bala”, del 20 de septiembre a 15 de octubre, y un poco más tardía para “La Mujer Cañón”, segunda quincena de octubre. La maceración duró una media de 30 días a baja temperatura y la fermentación se realizó en barricas y tinos de madera a temperatura controlada. Finalmente, una crianza en barricas de diferentes tamaños con la finalidad de buscar profundidad, complejidad y equilibrio. Son vinos que reflejan los diferentes caracteres de la garnacha cultivada en la sierra.
