Español [ ES ]En el año 1988, la familia Carbonell Figueras, con una larga tradición vitivinícola de más de 300 años, inicia el proyecto de la bodega Clos Montblanc. Situada en Barberà de la Conca, muy cerca de dos espacios emblemáticos en la historia de Cataluña: la ciudad fortificada de Montblanc y el monasterio de Poblet. Una tierra llena de historia y tradiciones donde se instalaron los monjes cisterciences hace ya casi mil años con el propósito de buscar el camino hacia la perfección. Un espíritu presente en el alma de nuestros habitantes que se refleja en el modo de trabajar de su gente.
-Nuestros vinos tintos reúnen el espíritu de variedades autóctonas, como el trepat, el tempranillo o la garnacha, con castas foráneas, como el merlot, el cabernet sauvignon o el syrah, en una simbiosis de carácter y personalidad añadida.
-Los blancos conciertan el macabeo tradicional de nuestra tierra con el chardonnay y el sauvignon blanco, que dan equilibrio al ensamblaje.
-Los rosados se elaboran con variedades como el trepat, el tempranillo, el merlot, el cabernet y el pinot noir en fermentaciones llamadas en “cascada” por la particularidad de su vinificación.
La bodega cuenta con el espacio y el equipamiento para una vinificación moderna, donde se elaboran nuestros vinos de finca. También cuenta con una zona de crianza con más de 1.000 barricas con diferentes tonelerías de origen francés y americano. Nuestro enólogo Josep Vadrí ha trabajado en diversidad de escenarios realizando vinificaciones junto con colaboradores de zonas tan variadas como Francia, Chile o Australia. Estas colaboraciones han dejado huella en su enología, caracterizada por vinos de vanguardia en los que la fruta se expresa junto con la crianza y donde cada variedad muestra su carácter más personal.
