Encaramado en el empinado lado oriental del valle del río Adige, en forma de cañón, en la región de Trento, Pojer e Sandri es una de las bodegas más notables de la región de Trento y de toda Italia. Pojer e Sandri data de 1975, cuando el joven Fiorentino Sandri heredó una parcela de viñedos en el pueblo alpino de Faedo, Trentino y formó una sociedad con su amigo, Mario Pojer, que acababa de recibir su diploma de San Michele Agricjultural Istitute. Hoy, Pojer e Sandri son respetados internacionalmente, como una bodega innovadora que marca tendencia con todos los aspectos de la viticultura y la elaboración del vino, en la búsqueda perpetua de nuevas ideas para mejorar la calidad. Para preservar las características aromáticas (aromas y antioxidantes naturales), las uvas se trabajan "sin oxígeno", una técnica patentada que utiliza metodologías desarrolladas por Pojer e Sandri, que incluye lavar los racimos de uvas antes de prensarlos, con oxígeno saturado de nitrógeno y utilizando levaduras naturales seleccionadas antes de la fermentación. Pojer e Sandri produce un amplio espectro de vinos, destilados y vinagres. Sus vinos blancos se benefician enormemente del sorprendente contraste diurno, entre las temperaturas diurnas y nocturnas, y la influencia del viento que viene del lago de Garda. Esto da como resultado un fuerte desarrollo de aromas, riqueza y concentración, haciendo de Faedo un lugar ideal para la producción de vinos blancos y tintos frescos y climáticos.
Muller Thurgau "Palai".
Cultivado a 600 metros de altitud, el Palai Muller Thurgau que es un híbrido de Kerner y Riesling, es el vino de la carta de presentación de Pojer e Sandri y un punto de referencia indiscutible de la variedad Muller Thurgau.
